I'm Richie Wilde Lopez, a textile artist based in Philadelphia, deeply inspired by my Puerto Rican heritage, queer identity, and love of color. For five years, I've been teaching weaving and embroidery, with workshops that emphasize community, creativity, and self-expression.
Teaching is a vital part of my artistic practice. Through workshops at Philadelphia fiber suppliers, I create spaces where we can reconnect with our creative minds, build friendships, and strengthen community bonds. I believe everyone has a maker within, and my goal is to help you tap into your uniqueness and bring it to your craft.
I offer workshops tailored to all skill levels, from beginners to more advanced techniques in weaving and embroidery, always focusing on self-expression and individuality.
